It was my honor last night to join subject specialist historian Dr. Lydia Harrington to address the Syrian American Network's kickoff event in Newton MA, connecting the historical experiences of the Syrian-American community in Massachusetts in the 1910s & 1920s to their experiences in the 2010s & 2020s. The Network aims to help unite Syrians of all backgrounds for mentorship, career development, and community building here and in Syria.
